OUR CAREERS
What We Do Matters
Our hospital is built on a foundation of core values that guide everything we do. How we treat pets, clients, our Team Members, and our communities matter. And the way we consistently approach our work with both passion and compassion is by using our core set of values to guide us every day, every time. Our core values aren’t just a blurb in a company handbook. These values are at the heart of who we are and what we do, and we are proud to live by them every day.
Our Culture
At Excelsior Animal Hospital, we believe the best way to provide compassionate, quality care to pets is by putting relationships—with our clients, patients, Team Members, and community—at the heart of everything we do.
We’re a close-knit group of experienced veterinary professionals that pride ourselves on our ability to offer mentorship, support, a collaborative workplace, excellent communication, patient care, and client education skills. In addition to caring for pets, we also care for each other. Through day-to-day interactions and organized team-building activities, we create an environment where personal health and well-being is important and every individual matters.
We offer a complete benefits package, including free uniforms annually, generous personal pet discounts, paid CE, six paid holidays, paid time off, and health/dental/vision insurance. Oh, and we like to have fun!
Community Impact
Our commitment to pets extends beyond our hospital walls. We are active in our local community, donating services and volunteering time to enrich the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Our Team Members also have the opportunity to give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals. Since 2017, we have provided 500+ rabies vaccines and performed over 900 spay/neuters. In 2021, we opened a hospital in the Galapagos and sent four teams to make a difference for the community and their pets.
